I heard about Japanese karaoke but have never tried it until recently. Japanese karaoke is a fun way to have a party for a group of friends, big or small. The karaoke place has several rooms, the choice of a room depends on the size of the party.
The rooms are soundproof for the most part. When you walk down the hallway you can hear that there is something going on behind the door, but can't really tell what they are singing. At the same time, the sound inside the room is cranked up very high, it is loud!
There was a fat book of available songs to choose from. Once you know what you are going to sing, you type your choice into an oversized remote control, and it queues the song. After you are done singing, the program scores your performance (number 66 in top right corner of the TV).
It was fun.
Just interesting notes and pictures from our travels.
