I heard about Japanese karaoke but have never tried it until recently. Japanese karaoke is a fun way to have a party for a group of friends, big or small. The karaoke place has several rooms, the choice of a room depends on the size of the party.
The rooms are soundproof for the most part. When you walk down the hallway you can hear that there is something going on behind the door, but can't really tell what they are singing. At the same time, the sound inside the room is cranked up very high, it is loud!
There was a fat book of available songs to choose from. Once you know what you are going to sing, you type your choice into an oversized remote control, and it queues the song. After you are done singing, the program scores your performance (number 66 in top right corner of the TV).
It was fun.
Just interesting notes and pictures from our travels.

Tokyo Disneyland/
Tokyo Disneyland, even though not directly managed by the Disney company (some big local company bought the franchise rights), is not any different than any other one, it is still the happiest place on Earth!
Walt Disney's and Mickey Mouse's statue greets visitors at the entrance to the theme park.
Visitors enjoy the rides and even though all of the rides are for kids, the adult children particularly enjoy this one:
Tokyo Disneyland still holds the electrical parade at night. People start taking places two hours prior to the venue.
And, of course, fireworks.
The easiest way to get to the Tokyo Disneyland from Tokyo is by train. First, get to the Tokyo station, then get on to the Keiyoo line (red line) and get off at Maihama station. The walkway to the park starts right at the station.
