100 yen stores/

When someone told me that the 100 yen stores are pretty good, I was pretty sceptical about it. Then I went and checked it out for myself and I was impressed! Here are some pictures:

That particular store sells the following items: copybooks, pens and pencils, kitchen utensils, bowls, containers, some food (some kind of chips), lots of gardening stuff, toys, small electronic items (headphones, plug adapters, they even have the blank cassette tapes), and a whole bunch of other stuff that I can't remember. The items sell for cheap, but the quality is very good. The metal forks don't feel light, the plastic items are all nicely polished, the copy books don't look like they will fall apart, the china plates, even though they are small, look very pretty. One of the items that we got were socks, socks for chairs and the table:

Now our kitchen furniture no longer complains about arthritis makes noise when being dragged :) By the way, the "pretty napkin"-looking thingie on the top of the picture was bought at the same store too!
