Driving in wild nature, part 3: British Columbia/

Day 3 on the road begins out in the Watson Lake. This place is approximately in the middle of the Alaska-Canada highway. It is on the border of Yukon and British Columbia.

Some branches of the road lead to another Canadian province, the Northern Territories. But we are not going there.

The nature here is also very beautiful, but it feels different than up in Yukon, it's greener here.

But there is still snow on the mountains and ice on the lakes. This is the middle of May.

This lodge on the Muncho Lake is one of the stops on the road. There is a gas station, a restaurant, and an access to the lake. Inside the lodge there is a nice map of something.

And there is lots of fauna here. A brown bear.

A black bear.

Numerous buffaloes.

Mountain sheep.

A porcupine.

Another rest stop on the way.

With a gas station and everything.

The roads are getting a little wider and more flat. We are almost to Dawson Creek, which is the official mile 0 of the Alaska-Canada highway. We'll reach it tomorrow.
