Hirosaki Castle/Замок Хиросаки

Besides the sakura festival, Hirosaki is also famous for the castle. The original, 6-story Hirosaki Castle was built in 1611, so this year it would have celebrated its 400th birthday. Unfortunately, the original castle was struck by the lightning in 1627 and exploded once the fire reached the gun powder cellar. After that, the castle was re-built several times, and that is how it looks today:

Помимо фестиваля сакуры, Хиросаки еще знаменит своим замком. Самый первый, 6-ти этажный замок Хиросаки был построен в 1611-м году, так что он мог бы отметить свою четырехсотую годовщину в этом году. К сожалению, в самый первый замок попала молния в 1627-м году и он взорвался когда огонь достиг пороховых подвалов. Впоследствии этот замок перестраивали еще не раз, и вот так он выглядит сейчас:



The castle complex is surrounded by ponds of water walls that look the same as the walls of the Emperor's Castle in Tokyo.

Комплекс замка окружен водой, и стены отделаны так же, как и замок Императора в Токио.


The castle is actually a museum inside, and the entrance is free. However, the entrance to the castle complex is not free.

Внутри замка расположен музей, вход бесплатный. Зато вход на территорию замка платный.
