A famous restaurant in Hakodate/

In my last post, I wrote about the square with four restaurants. One of them, the ramen place, is quite popular. The line to get in around lunch or dinner time can be more than 20 people, and the service there is pretty fast and there is plenty of seating inside.

On the picture a potential client is studying the menu. Entrance to the restaurant is hidden by the curtain.

And here is the food. By the way, "shio ramen" stands for "salty noodles" and the soup was a bit too salty for my taste. Hakodate specialty ramen, though, is made with squid, but I have yet to try it.
