In some restaurants in Japan, you don't need to wait for a waiter to show up at your table. The tables are equipped with buttons. Push the buttons and a waiter will come in a minute. The closest one to this that I have ever seen in a restaurant is a system in the "Bubba Gump" chain, where you have to flip the signs on the table. But the button makes it so much easier!
В некоторых японских ресторанах не надо ждать чтобы подошли чтоб принять заказ. Столы оборудованы кнопками, если на нее нажать, то придет официант(ка). Я видел что-то подобное в ресторанах сети "Bubba Gump", но там надо переворачивать таблички чтоб кто-нибудь подошел. Кнопку нажимать гораздо легче.
