Sumida river cruise/

Well, it was not really a cruise per se. Sumida river boat is a part of the Tokyo's public transportation system. Mostly tourists take this route though because there is a wait time and you are not guaranteed a seat. So if you have plenty of free time, you are welcome to take a boat under many bridges.

This is where the trip started for us, we took that boat. The place is located close to Asakusa, and that tall tower with cranes on the far left is the Tokyo Sky Tree.

There are pictures drawn on the walls along the river banks.

It is a nice and quiet place to walk for people who live in the vicinity. The trip was quite lengthy, we spent almost an hour just traveling down to our next stop. But it did not seem like it was too long because we enjoyed the view.

This river tram is not the only type of boat that travels along the river.

This was a nice and refreshing way to get to our next stop.
