The Sooneck Castle/

On a shore of the beautiful Rhine stands the Sooneck Castle. Let's stop by. First, we need to get there.

Here is a little preview of the castle.

Nice welcoming sign.

Approaching the castle. It's at least 500 years old.

Castle's tower.

The view from the castle

And the other parts of the castle.

Next time we'll go inside the castle's tower.

Competitive Barbeque/

Competitive BBQ teams get together in DC in summer, it's hot enough outside, and the charcoal makes it even hotter. But it tastes great!

And this all is not far away from...

Not in China/

But in Chinatown, DC.

Downtown DC/

Lots and lots of houses. Lots and lots of traffic. But nice and pretty! And pricey...

Let's keep on going.

Hey, art school! Under construction.

Going further.

Finally, leaving downtown.

Japan: announcements on train/

It may seem that it is hard to understand what this says for a person who does not speak Japanese.

But if one waits a little bit, an English translation follows shortly.

Train bathrooms on Japanese trains/

Japanese bullet trains have neat clean bathrooms. They implement some interesting space-saving ideas. This is a standard restroom, unisex with a changing table.

And this is a sink where one can soap (left), rinse (middle) and dry hands all in one place.

This is another interesting feature. A window in the men's bathroom can tell you whether it's occupied or not.

Walking around a German village/

These houses remind me of old movies. Nevertheless, all the houses are real.
